So what if we were to re-frame our new reality with Social Distancing…?
So often we don’t spend the time required to do the things that we want for ourselves. Work, family, cooking, errands and chores always seem to come first. What if all of a sudden we were presented with a little more time at home, could we re-frame this as an opportunity to focus on self-care and personal development?
We thought about the possibilities that are open to us and how we could create a group where we all work on personal goals, where we can meet weekly for discussion and idea-sharing that would be open for everyone.
Since all of our classes are now on Zoom we thought that this would be the perfect platform to create an exciting 30-day program for the month of April. You can get your family, partner, parents, kids involved. This can be something that you create some buzz around at home. Something that can be a starting tool to have a really exciting month of April, at the end of which you will feel energized, healthy and maybe even a little transformed.
So the 30-Days program is FREE. All you have to do is go down to the bottom of this page and choose one of the two meeting time slots for Wednesday the 1st of April when we will be meeting AND download the Goal Tracker. If you don’t have a printer, get out a ruler and make up your own version. This is just something to keep yourself on track with you own personal goals….
3 Categories of Transformation
This 30-Day Transformation is going to focus entirely on YOU. And involve transformation with regards to 3 different categories:-
1. Body Transformation
2. Spiritual Growth and Development
3. Life Goals
On the 1st of April you will set yourself realistic goals to achieve at the end of the 30 days. Think a little outside of the box. This could include items like;
- Do 6 fitness classes a week
- Remove all processed sugars from your diet
- Drink 2 litres of water every day
- Walk or jog 5 km 3 times a week
- Quit coffee, smoking, alcohol…
- Eat 3 plant-based meals a week
We can help you with this…and during our first meeting we will be writing these goals down and putting them somewhere we won’t forget!
Spiritual Growth and Development
The second category covers those areas of your life that you know need attention and could be regarding your mental, emotional or spiritual health. Again we will help guide you as to how and where you would like to see some growth and again set some realistic goals as to how to get there. For example;-
- Meditate daily
- Read those 3 self-development books sitting on your shelf
- Journal Daily
And finally over the first three weeks we will be encouraging you to start compiling magazines and photos and pictures that represent some of the things on your bucket list.
This will be used in Week Three to put together your own Vision Board and we will organize a Vision Board Party via Zoom where we can create our boards from our living rooms. There is a ‘better’ way to do this and so again we will help you out here with your layout.
Important Times and Dates for this Challenge
On Wednesday the 1st of April at 6pm, we shall all meet for a Kick Off Meeting on Zoom at either 2pm or 6pm. You will already have downloaded your Goal Tracker and during that hour we will share and discuss what our objectives are for the next 30 Days.
You will take a photo of your Goal Tracker with just your first name and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can help you stay accountable.
You will also receive a chart to mark your progress, how many times you worked out, did yoga. Water consumption, meditation etc. You can adapt this for your own goals.

April 29th. 2pm or 6pm. Last Meeting + Guest Speaker
**Based on feedback from you, and topics that you would like covered, each week we shall be inviting someone to join our meeting to answer your questions.
How to get started…
- Make sure you have a monthly pass or enough class passes to come to the Veda Yoga Virtual Studio at least 4 times a week. Meetings will be Free of Charge and only for participants.

- Download the file below, and take some time to reflect on what you would like to achieve during this 30 day period.
- Schedule yourself into all 5 Weekly Meetings
- Start collecting old magazines and pictures/photos for your Vision Board
